To determine which one you need, look at the gap left by your accessory when mounted to the rack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003e0.5 inch\u003c\/strong\u003e thickness is used on accessories where the pin inserts from the front or rear of the upright, such as J-Cups, Spotter Arms, drop-in safeties, and the Titan X-3 Monolift. You will have a 1\/2\" gap on each side, so you need to fill just one side to straighten out your accessory. You will need 1 pair for most attachments, except for strap safeties - these will require 2 pairs. These are sold in \u003cstrong\u003epairs\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003e1 inch\u003c\/strong\u003e thickness is used for accessories that pin on from the sides, such as the Rogue Adjustable Monolift, Rogue Matador, Mutant Metals UDA, Rogue Velocidor, and the Rogue Kids Pull-up Bar. You will typically shift these attachments to one side, leaving a 1\" gap to fill on one side. Most attachments will take a single adapter.
